Bowen Flexi Care is inviting locals to learn more about its business as the team reflects on another successful year of growth and expansion ahead of its Annual General Meeting.
Bowen Flexi Care’s Management Committee, said that the organisation continues to navigate its way through many challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Our organisation has experienced another year of growth and expansion, and we are positively planning and implementing changes that will strengthen our ability to support Bowen and the broader community in the years ahead,”
“New government schemes are transforming the way people access supports and revolutionising the way community supports are funded and delivered.
“As a registered not-for- profit organisation with a volunteer management committee, this changing regulatory environment calls for increased organisational governance and management that is even more business-orientated.
“Despite these challenges, Bowen Flexi Care remains committed to increasing community awareness and strengthening community relationships to ensure positive outcomes for participants, their families and carers, and the wider community.
“Continuing to build mutually beneficial relationships with our community and increasing our membership base is important to us because we want our locals to be aware of the work that we do and know that they are welcome and encouraged to join us, starting with our upcoming Annual General Meeting.”
Bowen Flexi Care’s Annual General Meeting takes place on Friday 24 September 2021 at 11:30am. The meeting will be held at 44 Williams Street, Bowen and a light lunch and refreshments will be served following official business to allow locals to mingle and get to know some of the team.
