LIFESTYLE SUPPORT WORKER

You will have the ability to assist people with but not limited to:

  • Respite in home or out of home
  • Personal development
  • Behavior Support

Ideally you will have:

  • Experience in assisting individuals with varying abilities
  • Proven ability to work positively and support people with varying abilities to achieve their goals
  • Experience with behavior support and intervention
  • Ability to follow and implement individual support plans / care plans
  • Demonstrated ability to implement a person-centered approach
  • Excellent documentation skills particularly case reports, progress summaries and incident reporting
  • Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, overnights and public holidays
  • Excellent personal and communication skills
  • Reliable, proactive and confident working with people
  • Enjoy working in a small team environment as well as independently
  • Experience working with youth and/or mental health is considered highly desirable

To be successful you will need:

  • Current or willing to obtainCPR & First Aid Certification
  • A NDIS worker screening clearance (Yellow Card) and a Blue Card
  • Drivers License
  • Up to date with COVID Vaccination requirements

You are required to complete the NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission Worker Orientation Module. The successful candidate will also be required to demonstrate entitlement to work in Australia, and to disclose any pre-existing injury or disease which may be adversely affected by undertaking the inherent requirements of the position.
